Thanksgiving Pictionary
Pictionary is a classic game that involves drawing words and guessing! It's a very fun game that requires some good guessing skills and decent artistic talent. But the great thing about Pictionary is that everyone can play. Even if your drawing doesn't get guessed, it can end up looking quite funny and be a great souvenir from the evening.
What you will need
- Pen or pencils
- 2 to 3 pieces of paper for each player (depends on how many rounds you play)
- A timer (your phone should do!)
- A list of words (We've included this below)
How to play Thanksgiving Pictionary
- Divide into 2 teams. An easy way to do this is just alternating Team A and Team B depending on the seating arrangement of the dinner table. If you want to make the game more competitive, try to make the teams evenly distributed by age.
- Flip a coin to see which team starts first.
- Choose a player to start drawing. This can be a strategic decision. Do you let your best drawer go first or last?
- Set a timer for 2 minutes, and draw words from the list below. Each time someone from your team guesses right, add +1 point. You can skip a word, but you can only skip twice per player.
- Take turns each time drawing until everyone has had a turn drawing. The winner is the team with the most points.
